Teachers" Day is a day to honor educators, and Mid-Autumn Festival is a day to bestow blessings. Coincidentally, this year Teachers" Day falls on the same day as the Mid-Autumn Festival, giving teachers a double dose of happiness.

教师节，铭记师恩；中秋节，遥寄祝福。今年的教师节恰逢中国传统节日中秋节，合璧的双节，给教师们带来了双倍的喜悦。

Foreign instructor Suzanne Steger, who has long resided in Zhengzhou, expresses her passion for music and the land beneath her feet with her lovely singing.

Suzanne Steger，是一名久居郑州的外籍教师，她用优美的歌声表达着对音乐、对脚下这片土地的热爱。

In 2013, Steger and her husband Bob traveled from the US to Zhengzhou. Steger holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and a Master"s degree in music from the University of California. She is now teaching Practical Art and Italian at Sias University’s School of Music and Drama in Zhengzhou.

Steger和先生Bob自2013年从美国来到郑州。Steger拥有美国芝加哥大学哲学博士学位，加利福尼亚大学音乐硕士学位。目前在郑州西亚斯学院音乐戏剧学院任教，担任《艺术实践》和《意大利语》两门课程的老师。

She is passionate about Italian opera and traditional Chinese culture, and uses music to express her inner love. With the help of her coworkers and students, Steger, who has been living in Zhengzhou for more than eight years, has learned many traditional Chinese songs, such as Jasmine, I Love You China, and How Deep is Your Love. She feels that the staff members and students here are quite kind. She adores China and wants to settle in Zhengzhou.

她醉心研究意大利歌剧，喜爱中国的传统文化，用音乐表达内心的热爱。在郑州已经生活8年多的Steger，一边授课一边学习，在同事和学生的帮助下，学会了《茉莉花》《我爱你中国》《你问我爱你有多深》等许多中国传统歌曲。Steger认为这里的学生同事都很好，她很喜欢中国，愿意把郑州当作自己的家。

September 10th of this year is the 38th Teachers" Day, the same day as this year"s traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. Let"s wish all of Zhengzhou"s teachers success and happiness.

今年的9月10日是我国第38个教师节，也是中国的传统节日中秋节，让我们祝愿在这片土地上辛勤工作的教师们一路桃李芬芳，永远花好月圆。
